wine was awesome, the employees were informative and attentive and the view is great.. The only improvement I would make is in the food part.. Better selection and sell crackers!!

I believe A Taste of Monterey is one of Monterey's best kept secrets! It has one of the best views around. We saw seals, sea otters and even dolphins (though we were told that is not an everyday occurence). The staff was VERY helpful and answered many questions for us. You won't find a wine tasting room with a better view anywhere. It is on top of a pier overlooking Monterey Bay. And since they are not tied to one winery, you can sample wines from multiple vineyards without driving from vineyard to vineyard.

Also, I recommend joining the wine club. One of the better values of any wine club I've ever tried.
