This is a nice place to view the history of Salinas as it once was. Steinbeck is one of my favorite writers. I grew up just down the street of his home on Central Avenue. This was an excellent addition to Salinas. Its a beautiful complex where you can visit all the creative arts and literature of the valley. But stay out of the East side of town. ...

This place has a wonderful atmosphere and a great souvenier shop. To really understand this place you MUST read at least one or two of his books. My friend had a Quinceanera and my Godmother(madrina)had her wedding ther and the scenery is beautiful! Most people dont know about the problem going on in Salinas... they're closing the libraries! ...

Only visited once even though I just live down the street. Amazing interactive exibits but I wasn't up to date on all my Steinbeck readings.
