We were very disappointed--the pictures on this site must have been taken years ago because it is much more run down now. There aren't all that many things to do and the area leaves much to be desired--we had a scary run-in with a drunk in the middle of the day. Don't waste your time--we certainly won't again.

My daughter and I went to Atlantis Play Center in Garden Grove, Ca. on December 6, 2008... We had got there at 2:00pm. The Winter Fest didn't start till 3:00pm. We didn't have any tickets yet... The Best Memories
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 10/18/08
My mother used to take us to this park when we were little. (1960's and 1970's.) She and her friend would pick a spot in the park to lay out a couple of blankets and our picnic lunch; this was where we knew we could find "home base". Because the park was enclosed it was safe to run around exploring each different playground, ...
When I was little my dad would take me here. I have a faint memory of this place, I remember the entrance and somee of the park toys. When I joined Guardettes (Garden Grove's non-profit dance/drill team) my step-brother was real young and it was close to where we practiced that he would go play there to. This place is even better because ...

Safe and Fun

We loved that adults can only enter with a child. The kids could have spent all day on the Sea Dragon slide. They were worn out by the end of the day. Lots of shade, nice picnic areas. Fabulous park!

Atlantis Park was my favorite park as a little girl. I lived in the neighborhood nearby. My brothers and sisters would go and watch the park as it was being built. We even crawled under the chain link fence one day to take a peek. We could hardly wait till opening day. It was a child's dream come true. It was free in the beginning and ...
This is a great place to take kids. Totally enclosed. Adults can only get in if with a paying child. The entry fee is nominal and worth it. I went as a child over 30 years ago. It hasn't changed much. Lots of room to run and play. The birthday parties they do are great and the price is right. They take care of everything. You just bring the kids and munchies.

Great Place for Kids to place safely
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 08/13/07
I love this place because of the location and how peaceful the park is. All the people that you meet are friendly. We love that we can bring a picnic lunch and the table and benches are clean and in a shaded area.
My kids love all the slides, especially the dragon slide. There is alot of shaded areas & green grass. We love the hills ...
