Go directly up winding Beachwood Drive and at the dead end you will find parking for about 5 cars. Hike the little dirt trail and you have the best view of the world famous, Hollywood Sign. At dusk the pictures were not as crystal clear. To the left, you get a beautiful unobstructive view of L.A.

It was awesome to see it, and it really almost gave me goosebumps. The problem is that it is hard to find and get a good view of the sign. You will drive through the hills forever to find a good vantage point. There is a dog park at the bottom somewhere, and it you can find it you can get a great view of the sign and downtown LA from the other side.

What an awesome experience to see the Hollywood sign! I've seen it so many times on TV, but to see it in person - WOW!! The letters are like five stories tall & half the width of a large building. Did not imagine that it would be so big! The Hollywood sign is a MUST SEE!

There's not much to do but look at it, and you can't get up close and personal anymore, but there's something undeniably awesome about being in the presence of the Hollywood Sign, especially if, like me, you're in love with LA and the movie and television industry.
I wouldn't recommend going up there if there's any sign ...

It just bits of wood in a shape! It didnt look any good. I almost slipped and fell! I didnt like my tour guide either he was almost rude!

Pictures do not turn out well because of the smog. You basically can see the sign from many spots. It looses it pizzaz very quickly ... it is just a sign.

You cant get real close but if you take beachwood all the way up to the horse riding place there is a pull off and you can do a small hike (we did it with flip slops) and then the views are amazing of the sign and of the city great palce for pictures and hardly anyone around.
