It's a dump - literally...
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 12/01/06
Well - it is! It's built on a reclaimed garbage dump... which in my opinion is it's best feature! I certainly give them credit for that. But - they should have made 9 great holes - instead of 18 mini ones....
If you like holes that go from 65 to 85 yards - then this course is for you. If you like greens that slope at angles of upwards ...

Bring four of your friends
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 06/28/06
I like Scholl Canyon GC. It's a good place to work on your short game, as the greens are sloping but the speed is slow. You can leave your driver at home, and replace it with an extra wedge.
There are only a few places to lose your ball, and they are on the back nine, and usually only affect right-handed slicers. The exception is the ...

Scholl Canyon is the best if you need a golf fix on a weekend
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 03/02/06
What you need to know: 1) it is an executive course 2) you only have a couple holes to air it out 3) the back nine is one of the most challenging around with cliffs and narrow fairways and well bunkered greens 4) you won't come back for the beer cart woman 5) the views are fantastic in the winter 6) green fees are reasonable 7) the ...

It takes a lot of balls...
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 02/09/06
It takes a lot of balls to play in this course. You will lose a lot of golf balls at the back-nine of this course, but it sure is fun playing this course. The only thing I do not like in this golf club is they charge each person for a cart even if you are only renting one cart and they won't let you ride one cart each at $10 per head.

Easy Front 9 and get a new ball back 9
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 09/12/05
less expensive but nice course for senior and beginners.
As a beginner, it was not easy to put the ball on the green in back 9, but I had a great fun there.

scholl canyon is a great round of golf
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 10/25/04
I have played here for years - it is the perfect 3.5 hours of golf. It is an executive course set in the hills of Glendale. It is an 18 hole course with a forgiving front 9 and challenging back 9. I have been up there with new players to the game and old hands and both find the course to be a fine place to spend some time. Even the best players ...
