Well - it is! It's built on a reclaimed garbage dump... which in my opinion is it's best feature!
I certainly give them credit for that. But - they should have made 9 great holes - instead of 18 mini ones....

If you like holes that go from 65 to 85 yards - then this course is for you. If you like greens that slope at angles of upwards ...

I like Scholl Canyon GC. It's a good place to work on your short game, as the greens are sloping but the speed is slow. You can leave your driver at home, and replace it with an extra wedge.

What you need to know:
1) it is an executive course
2) you only have a couple holes to air it out
3) the back nine is one of the most challenging around with cliffs and narrow fairways and well bunkered greens
4) you won't come back for the beer cart woman
5) the views are fantastic in the winter
6) green fees are reasonable

It takes a lot of balls to play in this course. You will lose a lot of golf balls at the back-nine of this course, but it sure is fun playing this course. The only thing I do not like in this golf club is they charge each person for a cart even if you are only renting one cart and they won't let you ride one cart each at $10 per head.

less expensive but nice course for senior and beginners.

As a beginner, it was not easy to put the ball on the green in back 9, but I had a great fun there.
