What a DisappointmentAttended the Christmas Show. The cathedral was not lit outside, which should have been inspiring. The grounds were rather dark which was unsafe. The inside was industrial looking. Was surprised to learn afterward that the buiding was designed by Phillip Johnson, but his stuff is either good or quirky. I was very disappointed. Magnifcent Christianity Missed(See above. also)
Been there six times from Alaska and have come away
inspired by God's word, Dr Shuller's message, the music and guests each time. We have seen their holiday productions sveral times and benefitted
immensely from the Spirit of each season. We have
taken our grandchildren for thr spiritual experience.
