IncredibleIncredible, contemporary, touching worship service and sermons both times I've been there! Truly this is what heaven most look like. Aimee's legacy lives on. If you want to experience God, go to the Thursday 7pm or Sunday, 10am service. Wow!OVERALLAtmosphere

Beautiful Place for Worship.The stained glass scenes of every important encounter in Jesus's life were very inspiring. They made His life come to life. I loved worshiping there. Aimee LivesYou better do some research on Aimee Semple McPherson before your visit or you will miss the whole thing. The place is rich in history and I would like to see more information about the founder, Sister Aimee, available. Perhaps the Parsonage as a museum?

Eerie but interesting LA historyActually Angelus Temple had more history than I expected, though I visited about 5 years ago before they renovated. There was an interesting exhibit area on the second floor that had photos with stories and relics from the purported healings that happened at the church...crutches, casts, etc that people took off when they were healed.
