2 hours zipped by just like a blink of an eye. Filled with rich collection of a few thousand years from coins to war weapons to coffee makers to game tables to dolls and 2300 year old mummy casket. Reduced size ark of the covenant and many things mentioned in the bible or Torah. See the bible history come alive in this place as the curators tell you stories after stories in the bible that relates to the very things you are looking at.

Best Kept Secret in LA!
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 09/05/07
I enjoyed this museum more than any other in my life, although this is a small museum. The staff is respectful and I learned a ton. You learn a lot about the cultures and religions of the area. There is no glitz or fiction- this is authentic artifacts collected a hundred years ago. Some of them are incredible works of art and wealth. I invited ...

An oasis in LA
By Patricia S, 08/30/07
This little gem is tucked away near Dodger Stadium. You'd never know from the outside what's housed inside. From the sand and oil of the middle east to the mummy cases it was well worth the visit. The short lecture was very informative and their store offers some unique and interesting artfacts. Be sure to call ahead and get good directions.

Full of Biblical Knowledge and Treasures; 2 hours is too short
By ernestchu, 07/14/07
We, a group of 17, spent a memorable Friday evening (8-10 PM) there. Betty and Karen, unpaid volunteers, were very kind and flexible. They were willing to accommodate us at such a late schedule. The driving direction given by internet map services do not work. You must follow the direction given by Betty (i.e., northbound along Alessandro Way) to ...

An awesome display of biblical history
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 06/05/07
The Holy Land Museum has the best display of Biblical history in the Los Angeles area. The tour guides give information and answer all questions exhaustively. If you are a Christian or of Jewish heritage you would be doing yourself a disservice if you miss seeing this Museum. THIS IS A MUST SEE!!!

WE have visited this place several times with groups of elementary students. It is perfect. The students really get a feel for the lifestyle of the middle east. Ther eis very good interaction with the docents.

Wonderful Thanksgiving
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 11/27/06
I recently had a death in the family and my alternative was to spend the day at a Museum instead of crying at home. This museum was so breath taking, the tour was so informative and was shocked at all the beautiful treasures that were stored in this home on a hill. It is definately no ordinary museum and a very good value- only $2.50 per person at ...

An excellent stop - done very well
By hennessy61, 09/07/06
Being from out of state, it was a real unknown to us - the location of the place, and where to park... but what a wonderful stop it was!
Regardless of your religion - you will want to stop here and try and speak with the woman who maintains the place. Open your ears and eyes - and listen with your heart! Let it extend your journey or begin ...

It's a must-see-place!
By Sheryl V, 06/05/06
For a very reasonable entrance fee, this place is a must see. You will learn the history of mankind and the more you will appreciate the stories in the bible.

Great for all people, all faiths
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 09/24/05
The Holyland Exhibit is unlike any other "major" tourist attraction in Los Angeles. In fact, it draws more people from around the world than I expected. Our guide told us that they routinely receive visits from all types of people of all religions and I can see why. The Holyland Exhibit presents the Word of God simply and succinctly, ...
