I had no problems with the people working there. The marshal was nice and I think it's a really enjoyable course. I plan to play there again soon.

The staff handling the pro shop has got to be the worst in the country. The guy is horribly rude and couldn't care less about you. The only reason people play at montebello is because it's location is central and the course is very well maintained. But having to jump through so many hoops just to play is horrible. Just because they get more customers than they need doens't mean they should take us forgranted.

I have been trying for weeks to get a tee time at this course, to begin with i'm told to call back monday mornings and when i call back, no matter what time i call, i'm told saturday morning is all booked, if this a public course like the sign by the freeway says why don't they take resevations on saturday like everybody else.
Also, the person i talked to sounds as if did not care.
