the secret spots are insane. but tourists have killed laguna for me after growing up there my whole life. Majority of people have no idea what is really actually at a thousand steps. you just have to explore beyond all the disgusting people and climb some rocks. This beach is beeeeautiful! Very clean, pretty secluded, and the people are pretty friendly. It's also pretty easy to find, and not unreasonable to take a trip there if you are staying as far away as San Diego.

Striding these steps will whip you into shape quick. The beach is supposedly closed late at night. There is a locking door at the top of the stairs. Does anyone actually lock it? This is an awesome little beach. More for a little older crowd rather than kids, because there are literally 400 something steps!!! Very beatifual though.
