It's my home golf course, so I'd better like it. But it's a great course, picturesque, hilly. It can be forgiving on certain fairways. A good experience for an intermediate golfer like me. It can get crowded and play slow on weekends. I suppose that sounds like most golf courses. I can't think of any water that comes into play on this course. There's a fairway bunker on 18 that I've hit into, though...

Santa Anita is a L.A. County Classic. It was built in the 1930s as a WPA project utilizing WWI surplus equipment to contour the landscape. Most holes provide the players with options.
