The Central Library takes my breath away. Admittedly I love libraries, period, but this one is amazing. There are six stories (I think) and when you go to the open area, you're going to see some of the most beautiful architecture in Los Angeles. Check the hours though; for instance, on Sundays they're only open from 1 to 5. Definitely worth the trip.
