I've played here when I couldn't get on to any other course a 50-mile radius. I hear the driving range has been improved with new mats (they were chopped & beat up last time I was there), and get there early on Friday morning if you want to hit off grass. Fun 15 hole course right next to LAX. If you go on a non peak time the course is usually pretty open and I haven't had much trouble walking on.

Pros: relative cheap, easy to get to right after work, OK greens considering the rest of the course.

Cons: people who don't know much about golf etiquette - walking into my fairway without even asking, not yelling "fore" even when balls drop right next to me, crumbling club house or was that a shack???, hard pan conditions ...

This course has only 15 holes but is lit so you can play at night. The website and second phone number listed above are not right correct. The driving range has grass spots you can use on weekends.

Well-kept greens, and fairly fast-moving 18 hole course with a few long par 4's. It a bit dangerous out there, however, because the holes are so close together, and your ball may frequently find itself in the wrong hole's fairway.
Don't try to play at night--the lights are insufficient.
