My wife and I took our 7 yr old son and 4 yr old son. My advise is to have the kids take their own poles as mine did. We bought the shrimp (dollars worth), since the corn didnt help and then we caught 8 fish FAST. I was fun for the kids, a little pricey but fun for the kids.

My Husband and I took our 7 year old son and 3 year old grandson we had a really good time. We caught a total of 13 fish in 2 1/2 hours. They were all pretty big 12' TO 15' Inches each. It is kind of expensive but we had a great time. We will be back!

This falls under the category of first time, shame on them, second time, shame on me.

I first took my two small children to Troutdale in November, 2006. We paid the entrance fee and did not receive so much as a nibble for over two hours. Needless to say, we left very disappointed.

True enough as previous reviews states it can get pricey but you can't put a price on your child's smile or fun first time experience. My 9 yr old son had a ball he caught 4 large fish. It was great and we will go back soon.

MY SON HAD A FUN FIRST TIME EXPERIENCE. VERY EASY TO GET TO. THE ROAD GETTING TO CLAGO'S HAD A COUNTRY FEEL. YOUNG STAFF ATTENDANT WAS VERY POLITE. SMALL PONDS BUT GREAT FOR KIDS WITH SHORT ATTENTION SPANS. WE WILL BE GOING BACK SOON.
