Since L.A. doesn't have a center and no real downtown to speak of, what you come across are these type of things: manufactured shopping/dining "destinations." This is basically an open air shopping mall. It amazes me that so many people go here just to walk around, look in stores, grab some food and catch a movie. What's really ...

Awesome to hang out at night!
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 10/19/07
Lot's of fun for the entire family. The kids had a blast getting soaked in the shooting fountain. I highly suggest you take their swim trunks or they'll jump in with their clothes on. I love all the shopping, lots fun and zanny novelty items to choose from and it is a superb place to go out at night and have a wonderful dinner.
This place was great. Everything was located closely together. Fun shops and fun restaurants. We tried the Wausabi Shushi ... it was fabulous. Wolfgang Puck was average.
There were street performers that were very talented and entertaining. The atomosphere was high energy and is beautifully lit up a night.
This is a great place to see stores that you would normally not see in your hometown. Great speciality shops and awesome restaurants. It's a shame that the theme park was not as nice as the shopping area. I liked this place almost as much as Downtown Disney. Parking is a little pricey and there's no validation available unless you see a movie.

We love Citywalk! We go alot just to eat & roam around. The big draw is "Howl at the Moon" Piano Bar. Its the best entertainment around. Take 2 pianos, a drum, guitar, keyboard & lots of talent, & you've got FUN! The guys that play there are very funny & talented. They play all night non-stop. The later the hour the funnier & ...

Universal Sudio's Shopping Strip
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 03/23/05
Universal Studios City Walk is a nice place to go visit if you like shopping at specialty stores and eating at themed restaurants. Comparable to Downtown Disney, except the shops are more unique and varied and the overall atmosphere is a little more grown up than Disney's kid-orented park. For those who like the Irvine Spectrum, Universal ...
