An awsome place to be!My family was bored so we paced our van up and headed for the pier. Awsome place, love the roller coaster and the sea dragon also the scrambler. Food is good and neat. Just like the movies!!!I had seen this pier in movies for so many years that when I actually saw it in person it made every movie come to life!!! It is such a great place to visit, the excitement, the scenery, the beautiful beach. I think the ambiance of the whole area is worth seeing at least once in a lifetime.1 of 2 Yahoo! Wonderful times in the sun!I spent 10 days traveling through southern California and besides whale watching, Santa Monica Pier was definately the best part of my trip. The little shops are full of neat keepsakes, and the local artists are amazing! I even got to watch a boy reel in a giant horseshoe crab out of the shimmering ocean. great visitFun to look around and people watch. Games and rides if you’re interested. A great place to walk along the beach, foot showers –always a plus when traveling. The beach is nice but the water is too cold for my southern style. You have to pay for parking but plenty to do for free if you want to walk around or do the beach thing.2 of 2 Yahoo! Love itI love Santa Monica Pier, you can see some interesting things in there ;-) it is not as cool as Chicago Navy Pier but still it is a great place to just chill and walk aroundOVERALL

beautiful placethis is my second year in a row i came to santa monica with my girlfriend.. it gets better every year for me... this is the most beautiful place i have ever been,,,,the beach is awesome,,,,hotels are good...shopping.. everything is close by..I am looking forward to my next trip to santa monica....2 of 3 Yahoo! I wont be going backI lived in Santa Monica for 1 month between June 30th untill the end of July.As I just turned 21 I wanted to go partying but there is little of that here as everywhere not only in Santa Monica but all of Cali closes at 1.30.Weekends in Santa Monica were acceptional.Lots of people from the outer suburbs would come into Santa Monica to visit the ...You have found this review helpful.3 of 8 Yahoo! I can't wait to go back, I love itI just love the ocean, walk holding hand with my fiancee, I go there at least every six weeks, we miss each other so much, and I have to visit him,I used to lived there tewnty years ago, love going to all different places, (mountains, Disneyland, Magic Mountain,Knotts Berry Farm, Universal Studios,El Mercadito, Hollywood, etc, I don't like the heavy traffic,and cost of leaving, I am living in a quite and peaceful City, (Omaha, NE)You did not find this review helpful.0 of 3 Yahoo!
