Saw these guys back in June. Went to see Craig Lyons but I stayed late to finish my beer and much to my surprise, these guys were more than just the country band which I expected. I thought because they were somewhat older that it would really suck but they really rocked, more of a rockabilly/americana sound. The lead guitarist (Bob Adams?) is ...
A Living Daylight will be playing a special acoustic set at the Universal Bar & Grill on July 30th. Great straight-forward pop rock with terribly infectious hooks & melodies, and gorgeous harmonies. Very easily memorable too. The kinda stuff that gets pleasantly stuck in your head. :-) You've got to hear/see them live! The acoustic ...
Go see Strange Behavior on June 15th! You will not be disappointed. This band has a fresh world-beat/dance vibe with a killer female vocalist. Reminds me of Bow-Wow-Wow, Duran Duran, Red Hot Chili Peppers and some crazy shit I have never heard all rolled into one!
Even though this little bar/club sits on the edge of studios galore, it is a great place to hang out. I recently was there when a local band called PinkSlip played. Hot Chicks! Great tunes. I will definately be back
No whining going on when these guys play. Brings smiles and right on 'tude. Kick ass instrumentals and good caliber musicianship. Need to wake up Lost Angeles sooner better than later.
I went here a few times to chill and listen to live music. Quite unexpectedly, there was some great stuff. A guy from Liverpool, Dean Walker, played and sang some original rock/ballads and he was outstanding. I'd go again just to see him play. Another female singer/songwriter I enjoyed was Jackie Brown. Cool music...in kind of an odd but easy going setting. Go and enjoy it for the live music and cheap drinks.
