The place isn't a little rough. It's not a hangout for longshoremen. It's an upper-class establishment that looks like a slightly seedy tavern for effect. Jes-s it's in Laguna Beach. The only rough thing anywhere is parking.

Anyhow. Nice bar. Often very good bands. Plenty of pretty girls to watch.

It was wonderful. A group of us drove all the way up from San Diego to experience this atmosphere and music. It was fantastic! The music was unbelievable and the atmosphere great. Everyone was so friendly, we were dancing all night. You cannot really be there and not even move by the rythm... An absolutely wonderful experience!

Our favorite place to meet, drink, and be merry every second weekend of the month. That's when The Strangers play. They're a nice mix of talent starting with the multi-talented drummer/lead singer J.P., lead guitar: Greg (he jams!), keyboard: Bobby (truly gifted), and equal praise to the band's lead drummer and bass guitar player whose names fail me at this moment - sorry guys!

Oh, those boys at the Marine Room. An eclectic assortment of patrons. Awesome music. Dancing fun! Everyone just looking for a good time. Always feels like I am coming home. A neighborhood bar with a cozy atmosphere. And those bartenders! Robbie, you are too cute!

Operates as a cozy neighborhood bar during the days, breaks into fabulous live music evenings & Sundays...the best music on the SC coast.

Friendly, able staff, have fun with the patrons and each other. Hard to say who is best.
