What I did like about Memphis was their Brunch menu. However, I don't go there anymore because it is just too dark and small inside, and someone needs to pay attention on the cleanliness of the place. I believe relocation would be the answer. I think it would help. That is an OLD rundown building!

This place has the best gumbo in the OC. When I take guests, I bever even let them look at the menu, I jusy order the gumbo for everyone. They are all delighted!

Memphis is a nice break from the boring Orange County culinary experience - make that a very nice break. It's a real restaurant with a real chef designing the menu. So when you see things like meatloaf or pork chops or gumbo on the menu - throw out your expectations of how they might do those things elsewhere in the OC. Instead think New York - ...

This place is all hype; they think if they have higher prices the food tastes better. Trust me, it's not worth it. Old bar turned restaurant...too bad they didn't replace the bar food.
