Okay, maybe not the best in the whole world but truely the best I've ever tasted. I occasionally try other pastrami sandwiches but no one has come close to the remarkable flavor of Johnnie's Pastrami.

I have been going to Johnnies since I was a kid and the quality has never changed it has ALWAUS been THE BEST pastrami you can get ANYWHERE!! from sitting outside by the fire pits as a teenager to sitting inside dropping quarters in the table juke box always a wonderful time!!

I pwork in culver city and I go to Johnnie's at least twice a week the corned beef sandwich is the best I've ever had and one day when I was there I met the owner and she gave up here seat so I could enjoy my meal she was a very nice person and a joy to speak with so I would give the place a 10+.

For many years I went to Johnnie's when their prices were reasonable. Just after they got a good review from local restaurant reviewer by the name of Elmer Dills, they raised their prices dramatically. It became an "IN PLACE" to be after that. I use to think TOGO's had the best hot pastrami sandwiches. THen I tried Johnnie's. Johnnie'a makes TOGO's seem likes baby food. At Johnnie's the pastrami is sooooo juicy and every bite is delicious. I go here once a month. Its definately a Culver City tradition.

I grew up eating Johnnie's Pastrami. It's the first place I stop I make, straight from the airport. Without a doubt, the BEST pastrami sandwich ever! If it's too crowded, walk next door to Tito's Tacos(another don't miss)
