We met my son's friends and parents at your restaurant for USC parent week-end.
We had the best time, it was so much fun, the waiter was fantastic, I can't rb his name, but I think he was from Tennessee, nicest, nicest person, great personality, and a professional at his job, something you don't see everyday, I meant to write ...

the food was amazing!! I loved the wine sauce over a grilled steak with mushrooms. The mashed potatoes were to die for. I cant wait to go back. The waiters were super friendly. And the service was awesome. This has to be my new favorite restaurant!!

Our first time going there, one of our guests was served the wrong dish; the water ordered arrived until we were having dessert; worst of all the waiter was shamelessly asking for a 20% tip!!!!! when a 15% tip was given (this with terrible service).
This was unbelievably absurd !!!!!
The skirt stake was great, but the chicken milanesa suprema was dry; the fries tasted like they were made with rancid oil.

Both locations - Melrose & Studio City - are great in terms of quality of food, enormous portions, and great service - always super friendly and cooperative. But go for the food - you won't be disappointed!

I LOVE LALA'S, THE INITIAL REASON FOR MY VISIT WAS THAT A FAMED MEXICAN ACTOR BY THE NAME OF EDUARDO PALOMO DIES EATING TN THAT VERY PLACE, BEING A FAN OF HIS I WANTED TO SEE WHAT THIS PLACE WAS LIKE, I AM NOW TRULY IN LOVE WIHT THE MASHED POTATOES. EVERYTIME I GO I BUY THREE SIDE SERVINGS TO ENJOY THEIR TASTE EVEN AT HOME. THE PICANTE CHICKEN BREAST AND THE SOPUS ARE EXCELLENT AS WELL.

First time I ate at Lala's was when I red a review on the LA Magazine. They called Lala's the "Best Cheap Eats of LA".
Since then it became my favirite restaurant. Their aged skirt steak is to die for. The mashed potato, melrose salad, dijon salmon, New Yorrk....
But make sure you leave room for dessert: Flan or panquque with ...

I come to LA once a year and every year I have to make a trip to LaLa's for their Salads. They are fresh and you have to try them with their House dressing. The service is always great and it is refreshing to sit outside on the patio. They keep your beverages filled. The bread and special dipping oil are awesome!

Lala's has the BEST mashed potatoes. I'm a big fan of the steak sandwich and the garlic chicken.

Order the banana crepes when you're done: you won't be sorry.

casual environment. Food is great. ambience is great. order the skirt steak...great! and the cheese ...for appetizer and empanadas. definetly go back. really like it. not overpriced.
