Bad ServiceThe food is OK, but the service is bad. Last time I was there it took over 10 minutes until the waiter showed up to ask what I wanted to drink. Service is terribly show. Every time I have gone there, mostly for lunch, I have been disappointed.OVERALL

A Complete Dining PackageCafe Mundial is one of my favorite restaurants. It has everything needed for a wonderful dining experience. The ambience is elegant yet comfortable. What Happened?Ever since the restaurant has been under new management, the service has been terrible. Having been in the food service for years, I know that waiting 20 minutes to have your drink order taken is not okay. Awesome food, awesome service.I dined at Cafe Mundial, about a month and a half, I took my wife for the first time,(I had dined there before) ever since, my wife has not stooped asking me to go back. We had the asparagus appetizer, lobster bisque & potato leek soups, seabass w/ parmessan and a chocolate soufle. Consistant qualityQuality food in a neighborhood where restaruants come and go rather quickly. Though the previous reviewer felt the service was poor, I would disagree. In the 30+ times I've dined there I've never had a similar experience. Great soups, enjoyable pastas and a solid wine list. Definitely worth the trip.
