I think I said it all in the 'pros' section. Because it is a pub, I should mention the variety of potent potables. My favorites are the many ales, especially Newcastle Brown Ale, and, of course, there's Guinness Stout. Also a wide variety of wines. There is entertainment several times a week and my personal favorite is Rob Klopfenstein on Fridays, with his sidekick Harry Hall on violin and fiddle.

Having lived near a pub in West Kensington, I still sometimes long for those roast meats, those fresh winter vegetables and a glass of cider (or two). There are not many places in Southern California with those authentic flavors, and the authentic atmosphere of that English pub. The food was excellent as always, thanks to the talents of Dave. The Friday ambience is always magnificently festooned with the piano of Rob.

Andrew has created a fantastic neighborhood ambiance and with his warm welcome at each visit makes one feel like visiting old friends. The pub atmosphere feels authentic, and the food always excellent with very good prices. We love bringing guests from out of town to share the experience.
