From the time you walk in the door until you leave it is an experience that can only be found a J.R's. The food and the service are great. I've been a customer for 20 years and look forward to the next 20!

OK, I have lived in Southern CA for a long time and this place is like a staple! The environment is very southern, with the nicest staff you would ever meet. The food is wonderful, and I have tried various items on the menu. I am unsure of why this is not one of the top rated places to eat on L.A. Search! Please add this restaraunt to your list, me and my friend, family and co-workers love it!

another thing we like to do is crack the peanut shells and throw them on the floor. when our palos verdes bicycle club rides to johnny reb's, we get 12 to 15 riders who want to go on sunday morning. you will love it.

First off, the staff was very friendly and accomodating. Food was delicious. I highly recommend the sweet potato fries. I had a BBQ chicken sandwich and it was very tasty. I felt like you get quite a bit of food for the price. The restroom was clean and had hilarious music playing.. of chickens singing. I can't wait to go back.

The food is excellent, the service is done with a friendly smile and good sense of humor. The birthday song and goings on are too noisey for my taste, but everything else is great. They have the best BBQ Beef ribs and Pecan Pie I've ever tasted!
