This is one of my favorite places to eat dinner in Dallas! The food is so awesome! The place is usually so busy on the weekends that sometimes the service is not quite as good but they always make up for it by taking something off the bill. It is pricey but worth it! I loved it. We had 10 friends meet us there for dinner. Noone knew what to expect. We liked the atmosphere. Very understated, but comfortable. The food was good. All of the reviews we read before going there ranked this restaurant much higher than it really is. We waited twenty minutes after the time of our reservation to be seated. The food was mediocre. We were expecting much more than what it was. There were so many unhappy customers being extrememly loud about the poor service. Our waiter was excellent ...

Hibiscus falls into the category of "everything is good with lots of butter and cream." Everything we had was really good -- the Mac-N-Cheese is extraordinary . The soft-shell crab was very good, but not uniquely memorable. We didn't try the steaks (which I think they're most known for), but in general I'd have to say that while everything was very good, there was no real sophistication to the flavors.

The food is geat!! the service was terrible and I and my five friends had a rather large bill at the end of the night. It si an awesome place to eat but I would beware of the pricing and how much the suggested items from the waiter are.

The lobster ceviche appetizer is truly an exquisite one.
