  • Eat Hormel
    By Lake Neusa, 05/27/09
I have, for years, heard about Pinks. It's the best, it's the greatest etc. So, on the Saturday before Memorial day 2009 while visiting LA, I took my wife and friend to eat at the "wonderful" Pinks. We arrived about 11:30 and the line wasnt hateful. Since valet was already full, I parked across the street and put 4 quarters in the ...

My family and I love this place, being English we just love the relaxed atmosphere, whilst the kids watch out for "Stars".
Dont worry about the lines, this is half the fun , talking to the locals whilst you wait for the best chilli dog I have ever had.
I tell everyone I know who'sgoing to LA, to visit at least once.
Cant wait for my next trip!!

  • great place to visit....
    By A Yahoo! Contributor, 10/02/07
Had a great time, loved the history of the place. I'm also pretty sure we saw Minnie Driver there as well. Definitely a place to go for a great hot dog at least once when you're in L.A.

  • To cry for...

I love Pink's. It's Los Angeles in a nutshell. I've actually wept over a chili/cheese dog out on the back patio...(I live in New Mexico now and only visit Los Angeles 2 or 3 times a year, but visiting Pink's instantly reminds me why I love Los Angeles more than any other place in the world).

    Oh...the dogs are great too.

  • Chil Dogs: Pretty in Pink
    By Sol, 07/13/06
Pinks and its all beef kosher chilidogs are a Hollywood legend and a Los Angeles tradition. The people who work there and the people who patronize the place are fun and they have a simple menu with surprising variety. The place is a hole in the wall that you can barely see because of the lines that stretch late into the night. They are open and ...

    By A Yahoo! Contributor, 08/22/05
sometimes you just feel like being bad. as in eating red meat, or fast food, or a classic hot dog, covered in nuclear red chili from pink's. you're not alone. any time, day or night, there's a large line in front of pink's. everyone who's anyone has eaten here, as evidenced by the huge display of black and white signed celebrity ...
