it's a great view of the coast and gliders! You can lookout over the sea, down on to black's beach, or watch the people para-gliding around. There are also some R/C plane pilots launching gliders off the cliffs on occassion too.

My suggestion: pack a lunch. The little hamburger shop up there is nicely located, but relatively expensive ...

One of the highlights of the trip. Could have spend the entire day looking out over the Pacific...and by the way, there were these cool gliders.

I just learned the gliderport provides at their $$$$ expense $$$$$$
The ONLY toilet facilities for the entire beach.....
This is not right..........the city should put and pay for
additional facilities away from the gliderport.
Also if you have handicapped person in your care, once a month
the gliderport caters to them. People in ...

They have 3 blue portapottys that haven't been serviced
in so long you can see the pile sticking up almost
to the seat. The stench is unbearable. These facilities
have not been serviced since the last time I was there
a long time ago...........Will not go there ever until
this is taken care of.
