I love this place. It's quaint, charming, and has such delicious food! The homemade soups and dishes are hearty and savory. I'm in love with this place. My favorite touch is the lemon pepper they put on the sandwiches (by request). Buy a cookie on your way out! There is no public restroom, and there is limited seating. Come prepared knowing this (so you're not unpleasantly surprised), and focus on the food. :)

Girard Gourmet is one of LaJolla's hidden treasures. The sandwiches are absolutely amazing and the daily specials will keep you wanting to come back. Diana and Francois are gracious hosts and make everyone feel welcome anytime you stop by. Make sure you try their cookies!
