great views but hard on the arse! who cares about the venue tom petty was brilliant and a real highlight to our californian visit shame about the rather large lady who had just learnt to whistle between her fingers (sweetheart did you have to do it in the middle of the songs?)

If you're not already miserable, you'll probably love the Greek
Obviously you're going to miserable at a Tom Petty concert. Jesus. If I was working the sound/light board for that show I'd be falling asleep too.
Anyway, the Greek is a CLASSIC venue. I've seen several shows there, and I am more likely to go to a show at the Greek than somewhere else, because of the atmosphere.

My Fiance' and I saw Tom Petty at this venue and had an awful experience to say the least! There isn't enough parking for the amount of people. We had to park several blocks away and walk uphill for 15 minutes. The seating is on concrete benches with a few rocks thrown in. The seat numbers are spray painted on the concrete. We saw INXS at this theatre. What a show. There are no bad seats in the place. Bring small cusions to sit on and a blanket as this is an outdoor theatre. I will be going back to see another concert soon I hope!!!!!
