  • Wow, what a building!
    By makin do, 02/01/08
I knew the story behind the school, but I never realized what a gorgeous building these historical events took place in. I was born in Arkansas and the town I was born in never had anything that came close to this building in it. It is truly awe inspiring! The museum refreshed my memory of these 9 courageous students.

  • My Dad owned this station in 1957
    By A Yahoo! Contributor, 08/06/07
I enjoyed the history of Central as portrayed in the museum. I was greatly disappointed that my Dad's name is not mentioned as the owner of the station. He owned it from 1954 to 1964. Then again from 1966 to 1975. I graduated in 1975. I was and am very proud I had the honor to attend Central.

  • Interesting time in history, bland museum
    By CeCe Marie, 08/23/06
The museum itself wasn't really impressive. It was very small and didn't feature as much information as I had expected it to when we visited. The school was amazing though, it's absolutely huge!

  • I Was In Awe
    By A Yahoo! Contributor, 07/31/05
This little gem of a museum is a must see. The museum itself is the original gas station at which reporters called in their stories, and the school it is very touching to stand in a place where so much vital history and so much bravery took place. The neighborhood is in need of repair though due to the restrictions placed upon it when it was ...

  • Thought Provoking
    By Gwen, 06/29/05
As a graduate of this school, I am probably a little biased in my views. But the museum is an excellent place to help people who are too young to remember 1957 understand what it was like and what happened.

The school building itself is still beautiful, still how a school should look. When the school was built, it was named the most ...

  • Amazing
    By A Yahoo! Contributor, 05/17/05
One cannot believe how beautiful this place is until he sees it. There is a sense of awe about it. The neighborhood is trying to keep up with the restoration of the school, but looks like it is well on it's way. There is a great feeling of history here, and a twinge of jealousy towards those who are fortunate enough to call themselves alums! Amazing place.
