I've trolled around Emerald Park for a decade or so now. Its a great spot to go to walk, run, bike, or enjoy a brief smoke. There are several spur trails off the main path at the top of Emerald. Follow it around and down and you can make a loop around Emerald through Burns Park as a part of the soon to be famous Arkansas River Trail. The more adventurous could launch from there to manage the Big Dam Bridge.
