Sabino Canyon is lovely in that you are able to get some awesome canyon pictures. If taking the tram tour, be sure to utilize the tram stops to get out and walk around and take photos. Beautiful.

Sabino Canyon has always been one of my favorite places to go to get away from everyday headaches and problems. The beauty and outdoor nature is calming and soothing. Is always best to go in the spring time if we were lucky enough to get any winter snow on the mountains to melt and drain into the canyon.

I grew up in Arizona and we have taken every vistor we've had to Sabino Canyon. I have just moved back and my husband and I are planning to hike the trail to the top of Mt. Lemon. Sabino Canyon is my fondest memory!

Sabino canyon is a must see park, the hiking is awesome and the view is nothing short of
beautiful.You will see at least one road runner bird.

It's a well run park and has wonderful vistas. Most of the tram guides chatter too much but gratefully, they only talk on the way up, allowing your mind to wander on the way back down. It's beautiful place and if you have time to stop, take the tram up, bring a picnic basket and have lunch, unless it's summer.

We have small children(1-5 years) we found it to be a great place to take a hike, or just ride the tram. We stopped off for several side trips. We especially liked dipping our toes in the river to cool off. Grandparents loved it too. We tell everyone to visit, because of the incredible beauty.
It is a must see in Tucson!

I absolutely loved it. I'm from Houston and Moved to Tucson in 1996 and could not get enough of being outdoors and this was the perfect place to do it. I moved back to Houston in 2000 and can't wait to re-visit Sabino Canyon.

Sabino Canyon is a wonderful place to spend part or all of a day. Take an easy ride on the tram to your favorite picnic spot along the creek or enjoy many levels of hiking up through the canyon or on Phoneline Trail running along the mountainside high above the canyon floor. We hiked here in November of 2004. The views are stunning and there are thousands of saguaros(cactus). There is also a tram you can take to tour around the park if you don't want to hike.
