  • Horrible and dirty - never again!
    By A Yahoo! Contributor, 06/30/09
This was one of the worst display of bad customer service I have ever seen. Award winner was the girl in the gift shop. I walked into the gift shop (about 1:00pm) and asked if there were any other sizes for children and she responded, "can't you read the sizes?". The pools are filthy and we ordered a whole pizza and the guy said, ...

  • We wont go back!
    By A Yahoo! Contributor, 06/13/09
We visited breakers for the first time this summer today, 06/13/09, we had coupons that offers 5.00 off admission, they would not honor them and said everyone was paying only 10.00 for admission because the 2 new slides were not opened (even though they advertised they were) there were 5 children and 3 adults in our party the total cost was 80.00 + ...

What a dump! Filthy, slumlord place. Tucson should be ashamed of this place!

  • Don't Go!!
    By Frustrated, 10/13/08
I pretty much agree with everybody else's bad review. Road to the park was horrific. Waaaaayyyyy overpriced for the quality of the park. Very dirty! But the thing that bothered me the most was the horrible customer service these barely trained teenagers provided. They were EXTREMELY ignorant when asked simple questions and felt their ...

  • Sad, very sad
    By A Yahoo! Contributor, 07/29/08
In a sweltering hot place like Tucson it would be great to see a nice waterpark...but this isn't it. This has the makings of a decent waterpark -- wave pool, slides, kids play area...but it is small and SO run-down. It is really pathetic. I don't understand why someone doesn't take over this place and make it really nice. Also, it is ...

  • A Very Tucson Experience
    By A Yahoo! Contributor, 07/08/08
In a world that's been almost totally Disney-ized, it's great that there's still a place as funky and hometown as Breakers. Yes, you can see nails sticking out of the posts and sloppy painting, and the food is really terribly, but it's as close to going to a swimming hole as you can get. Want something sanitized and characterless? Go to Phoenix. My family loves Breakers and we hope it's never bought up by a corporation.

  • RE-Model
    By A Yahoo! Contributor, 08/13/07
First off, the road getting to the park was terrible. Inside was not very customer friendly. You paid to rent a locker and inter tube at one location and then had to go somewhere else to pick it up. The men's room locker had no hot water in the shower room. I don't know if it was the pool water or the place it self, but it smelled like an ...

  • Over-priced, under-kept
    By A Yahoo! Contributor, 07/27/07
We had fun on the slides, and if you are really short, the wave pool is also fun. The web site failed to mention that you have to be over four feet tall to ride the four big slides. There are two smaller slides for the little ones, however, you have to rent tubes to ride on those ( $14 for two). You are not allowed to bring in food or drinks ...

  • Service needs Supervision
    By lalablonde3, 07/06/07
Breakers has the only waterpark in Tucson, but it's location in the middle of nowhere, scary trailer area and rutted dirt road will deter many. The cleanliness is poor, but everything worked and despite dust from the previous days monsoon, the water was pretty good. Move all the shelters closer to the attractions and add at least 75% more ...

  • Great way to cool down with the kids
    By A Yahoo! Contributor, 07/03/07
It is the only waterpark that we could find in Tucson. It was a great place for our family to cool down, and with the $6 coupons wasn't very expensive. It kept the kids busy all day long and gave my husband and I a chance to cool down in the wave pool. We went on a Tuesday and there was barely a line for the slides.
