Breakers has the only waterpark in Tucson, but it's location in the middle of nowhere, scary trailer area and rutted dirt road will deter many. The cleanliness is poor, but everything worked and despite dust from the previous days monsoon, the water was pretty good. Move all the shelters closer to the attractions and add at least 75% more ...

  • Great way to cool down with the kids
    By A Yahoo! Contributor, 07/03/07
It is the only waterpark that we could find in Tucson. It was a great place for our family to cool down, and with the $6 coupons wasn't very expensive. It kept the kids busy all day long and gave my husband and I a chance to cool down in the wave pool. We went on a Tuesday and there was barely a line for the slides.

I could not believe the area before the pool that is supposed to have blue carpet. Do you really call that carpet?? It was so unkept, and torn to pieces. For the amount of admission paid, you would at least expect-good upkeep. They lack umbrellas, tables, and lounge chairs. I mean you can have at least 100 more lounge chairs and at least 50 more umbrellas without it being overwhelming.

    By A Yahoo! Contributor, 05/23/07
this place is to glamorized on t.v., first of all i waited 1 hour and 30min in the food line to spend my money on the most disgusting cheese burger ever! i went with a school group who food was suppose to be delivered at 11:30 and did't get it till 1pm. come on lets get prepared! Breakers staff know will in advance when to be prepared. this only thing i llike to most at Breakers was the kiddy pool.

  • Breakers f un event for the family but a bit grungy
    By A Yahoo! Contributor, 08/26/06
Breakers has been a fun event for our family for many years. Each year we go with hopes that it will be improved and cleaner. The lifeguards are young and often times more interested in socializing or having fun splashing the awaiting lines. The price is not to bad with a coupon. We were surprised last time to see all the coolers coming through when No coolers were allowed. They do have free lifejackets available with ID

  • Broken Wave Pool
    By A Yahoo! Contributor, 05/29/06
The wave pool is great. The slides are cool but sometimes the lines get long and if theres a breeze it can get chilly. Be sure to print out the cupon on the website!!! It saves you $7 on the entry fee!
You are not allowed to bring food into the park, so bring some money for the food. The food lines get really long around lunchtime so you should get in line before you start really getting hungry. You should also eat before you get there.
