I agree that kids under 4 should not be allowed in the planetarium. There are exhibits where they could get hurt and would generally be hurting things more than helping. This place is definitely a great venue. Try and be a better parent and not take underage children to a place with a billion things for them to choke on and with another billion things that could hurt them.

Thank the stars they don't allow children under 4
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 07/19/07
I'm sorry, but the majority of kids under four can't shut up or sit still and end up ruining the experience for everyone else, hence the rule. The planetarium is great. I'm sorry if the previous poster considers their child the exception, but that's no reason to rate this place 2 stars.
I was disappointed to find out that they don't allow children under the age of 4 insude the planetarium. I was very excited to take my three year old son who is fascinated with the stars, planets and space in general. It's a shame they have put an age limit on who would appreciate this.
