The new location is great! Food quality is the same as old location. Prices have increased a few dollars, but still worth the money!

Presumptive waiter
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 11/05/07
I ate lunch here on a recent Saturday. The food is only average, but they put too much food on the plate, which makes for a sloppy presentation. My pastel de pollo had a whole bay leave in it! There was also a large bowl of beans, a large bowl of rice (which had corn in it), and a basket of tortillas (which was odd, given the pastel was made of ...

This is not traditional Mexican food!
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 09/10/07
The menu changes daily. The waiter brings a chalkboard to your table and overwhelms you with rehearsed descriptions which are meaningless. You take your best guess and order, or just get the chef’s surprise and they pick it for you. There are no tacos, tamales, or enchiladas anywhere on this menu. Prices run from $20-$30 per plate. If ...

Poca Cosa is a fabulous restaurant. However, this web site has the old address. They have a new location on Pennington and Scott.

By DGV, 06/27/07
I was invited to this place by a friend, had NO idea what I was getting into. Okay, entering this place was eyecatching. the colors and decor was definatly keeping me busy from the reality of this restaurant. The food was WAY WAY over-rated. I cannot tell you how much I felt dupped being there. I rate this a 'zero' as far as location ...

Snooty Staff and Owner
By Dutchie, 06/23/07
I have to admit, the food was pretty good, but that is almost immediately neutralized by the snooty staff and owner. I love Mexican food and had heard a lot about Cafe Poca Casa and wanted to try it. The first time I went with my whole family (daughter -8 son -6). I know that sometimes that can be inappropriate, but I went at 5:00 PM, which ...
