  • Real pricey fun
    By A Yahoo! Contributor, 05/03/09
The weather and location was great, and the staff was very nice. The things we didn't like was it was very expensive to take our kids. If you have young children this will be real fun for them and great family time. We have older children and each kid caught 2 fish each within the first 10min. which with the discount coupon still cost $80. ...

  • Annual Trip for Our Family!
    By cobalt123, 09/01/08
Seeing three little girls ecstatic about catching their own fish is delight, and it does not take long for them to hook their prize. Picnic tables at the Rainbow Trout Farm and grills are perfect for the staff their to prep the fish and have Daddy cook. Lots of fun with colorful and scenic views including lots of little lizards and flowers. You ...

  • Unexpected delight
    By A Yahoo! Contributor, 07/15/07
We were taking a drive up North looking for a fishing spot for our kids. We didn't find anything suitable easily. Then we just happened to drive by this place. We drove in and talked to the owner and wow what a great ideal. We had found the perfect fishing spot for small children. It was well shaded, they supplied the fishing poles if you ...

  • Fun to do but not exactly cheap fun.
    By A Yahoo! Contributor, 05/18/07
This is a great way to spend part of your day in Sedona, especially when the weather is great. Though you have to pay for what you catch. No throwing back fish you don't want. So if your like us with a family of 3 and you wanna spend some decent time ther you end up catching about 12 fish at $8+ a pop it gets pretty pricey.

  • Always look forward to going back!
    By A Yahoo! Contributor, 03/10/07
We are from Texas and love to fish and eat Rainbow Trout. This is a great place to fish because you don't need a fishing license. The price per fish is a little high and yes it is very easy to catch a fish, but it is way cheaper than purchasing an out of state fishing license for a day or two. The atmosphere is great and the trip is memerable. Stay for the day and drink a beer between fish.

  • We were dissapointed
    By A Yahoo! Contributor, 02/09/07
We loved the idea of going fishing with the kids ages 12, 10, 8, and 6. I knew it would be a little pricey but we were guarenteed a catch so the money would be would be worth it. Well... we did all catch fish but the problem was they were so easy to catch we were done within 5 min. of throwing our hooks in the pond. Not my Idea of a fun ...

  • Major Stress Relief
    By Lia, 12/02/06
The feeling of the outdoors and the beautiful Sedona landscape make the trip there and the time you spend there well worth it. You will never go without a fish and the owners are very friendly and always willing to give you a smile. Must go especially if you have little ones.

  • Awesome exprience for my sons
    By A Yahoo! Contributor, 11/20/06
My wife and I have been wanting to introduce our boys to fishing, and this was the perfect place (yes, too easy to catch fish).

Excellent service. Highly recommend especially for children who might not have the patience to fish somewhere else.

  • This was our 3rd trip!
    By A Yahoo! Contributor, 10/12/06
I'm not sure who was the biggest kid in my family when we went to the Trout Farm, my husband or 6 year old daughter. Staff is helpful and farm area is very clean. Trout is very tastey, take it home or cook it their in the farms picnic area BBQs. You can purchase BBQ kits that include: seasoning, butter, foil, plates, napkins, and forks. Great ...

  • tasty fish
    By A Yahoo! Contributor, 06/02/06
These are beautiful trout and very tasty. I like that the pond is spring fed instead of funky creek water. Kids love it but it's a thrill for those who can't fish!
