The food was amazing. The rack of lamb and crab cakes are out of this world. The flour-less chocolate torte was heavenly. The staff was exceptional; kind and courteous the entire night. The atmosphere was surreal.

Anyone looking for a beautiful atmosphere and excellent service should try Rene's! The food was a bit bland, but not terrible and was easily livened up with a bit of salt and pepper. The colors, live music and welcoming staff made this restaurant an instant favorite! I will definitely dine there every visit to Sedona!

I loved the mushrooms neptune and rack of lamb at Rene!! It was one of the best meals I have ever had! I still rave about it! Reading some of the poor reviews, I have to say they are of these individual's experiences and not reviews of the restaurant itself. You can't be a McDonald's connoisseur and expect to enjoy high class ...

I've eaten at Rene many times and have never been disappointed. It is known nationally and recommended even by other restaurant owners in Sedona. It's been voted Best Restaurant by locals for many years. Go there!

This was the most beautiful and romantic dinner experience in Sedona. The food was perfect, tasty and healthy and the desserts outrages. The ambiance of the Mexican court yard was filled with the live music of a native Flute player.
Lunch is as good as dinner and very affordable.

We went there to celebrate my birthday. The food was lovingly prepared and the service was elegant, the desserts outrages and the wine list outstanding.
We listened to the live entertainment of a local flute-musician. His music was so expressive, and had such a soothing and pleasing sound that we bought 2 Cd's of his music.
We will come back as soon as possible.

I don't know what these other reviewers are talking about. My wife and I ate there once, and she has had dinner there another time. Both were rewarding experiences. I travel throughout this country and internationally and rate this among my top ten favorites. The food was outstanding, the wine list good, and the young server was attentive to all our needs. We'll be back soon.

We ate at Rene years ago on a trip to Arizona. It was one of the three best meals we've ever had - and we eat at the finest restaurants in Boston (where we live) from time to time - so that is definately saying something!
