The first thing you notice about Sugar Bowl is all the pink- which suits this place just perfectly. The food is simple yet tasty- lunch is especially a great price. But save room for dessert! The ice cream is so rich and creamy. The ambiance, the food, and the good value is what makes this my favorite ice cream parlor.

Being a local to Arizona, this has always been a favorite of mine! I love the icecream here, and the food is not too bad. One of the best parts is that I can go there with my boyfriend (we are a gay couple) and we are not treated badly.

The ice cream at the Sugar Bowl is truly amazing!!! But, you must eat somewhere else first. The food is very blah (no flavor, cheap ingredients) and there is nothing on the menu you couldn't make at home for a lot less money. So we suggest you go for the dessert and that way you will not feel disappointed!

I was just in there 03/08/06 and was ignored by 3-4 staff who were standing in a corner chatting. After 5 minutes of waiting and staring at the menu I left. I suggest maybe asking for a manager before being seated so your not ignored. There won't be a next time for me as there's too many places to eat that welcome customers.
