We were not told that to order hamburgers we could not use reservations and had to sit in the bar area where there were no reservations. In order to do so, one must be there early because the area is full, especially on the weekend. The burgers were great and included cheese, tomatoe, onion and bacon as well as being done to perfection as we ...

The Nicest Ejection Possible
By tmechaz, 02/05/06
Every aspect of our meal was superb: service, appetizers, entrees, drinks & dessert. We were so comfortable that the time got away from us. We'd been there 2.5 hrs. & the table needed to be turned over. Chef/owner Robert McGrath amiably & apologetically asked if we'd like seats (and drinks) in the bar. Such great dining & gracious treatment - we'll be back (and more careful of the time).

Great food-Very nice ambience
By Hurley J, 10/27/05
I pretty much loved everything about it. The place seems to be a little known secret so it is very easy to get a seat.
There really isn't anything that really stands out that is on the bad side. Will definetly be going back. Mmmmm

What'a Burger
By A Yahoo! Contributer, 01/03/07
Best hamburger I have had in many many years and the price was the same as any other restaurant, if not less; beautifully cooked. Other food items looked great too. Exceptional ambiance.
Only negative was service. Just because you have been a bartender for a long time doesn't make you a good one. I was offered "basic" service and ...

hostesses; ambassadors
By A Yahoo! Contributer, 04/05/06
Why would a great restaurant post two ill informed and impolite people as their ambassadors? Aside from the normal oversight of first impressions, roaring fork won some serious marks this evening. dont miss the pork and green chile stew, and if you split without the banana dessert you missed the boat. Well polished, great bar personel; we will be back. Good wine by the glass selection too.

Wish there was on in Florida
By A Yahoo! Contributer, 12/13/04
I have traveled quite extensively to play golf all over the United States. This place was recommended by another golfer who I met on the golf course. Roaring Fork had the type of menu I like, a lot of variety. The food was excellent as well as the service. I would recommend this establishment to anyone that might be in the Scottsdale area. You will not be disapponted !

The Best of the West
By Gerald K, 02/04/06
This is my favorite restaurant in Scottsdale. Great bar, great food, creative menu, a friendly owner-chef who visits all the tables and a totally non-stuck-up staff.
Don't miss it.
