  • What happened?? A Major YAWN!!!
    By A Regular Joe, 08/01/09
Go to the center in L.A. if you have a chance. We were so disappointed with the "science" center. What ever happened to science or scientific research? Star Trek exhibit??! WTF! Junk from the Titanic? Gee Whiz!! I like Star Trek, but it does NOT belong in a science MUSEUM. This place sucks and it shames me that I live here, but have to travel out of the valley/state to go to a REAL museum. Management should be FIRED!

  • Don't Waste Your Money
    By Bitis_Gabonica, 01/19/09
We went to the Arizona Science Centre today for the Star Trek Experience and were quite disappointed that none of the artifacts worked ... like the buttons on any of the Next Generation consoles etc. There was lots of reading and we read over 3 times Einstein’s theory of relativity in different areas ... sigh!

    We were also disappointed ...

  • Will not refund you if theater is shut down
    By dj5 p, 11/06/08
I recommend this center for younger children. However, be advised if for whatever reason Science center has to shut down the theater after you paid admission on their online website, they will not refund you. I took my boys to see the Titanic Exhibit and they had to shut down the theater for technical difficulties and would not refund me. I even ...

What a RIP OFF.. Have been to many museums all over the world and this is the most expensive one I have ever been to... Not only that it is the SMALLEST one I have ever been too.. Can walk round it in minutes.. it is a joke.. most of the exhibits were aimed at kids... we went when the Titanic exhibit was on what a joke.. there were a couple of ...

    By A Yahoo! Contributor, 07/31/07
Why is the Az Sci center the number one place to visit in Phx? You got me! I have no idiea. My wife and myself along with our 11 year old daughter coulod hardly wait to get to the Sci center that morning. We had heard so many good things. So much to see, so much to do and inexpensive to get in as well! Wrong, wrong and WRONG!!! Only $9.00 for ...

  • Am I missing something here?
    By A Yahoo! Contributor, 07/25/07
While the museum did offer a few interesting exhibits, it is not conducive for small children. They had one area for preschoolers that was dirty and not well-stocked. I found all the exhibits a bit dirty in fact. There were several school groups there (despite it being summer); it was way too crowded and rambunctious for my 2-year-old daughter to ...

  • Better when it's quiet.
    By JENNIFER H, 04/14/07
Went for the 2nd time to the Science Center with the intention of seeing the Body Worlds exhibit. The exhibit was nice, but there were still too many people.

I am glad that I was able to go to the Science Center a few months ago - prior to the Body Worlds exhibit. I had gone on a weekend, when they first opened and was able to see and experience all of the other parts of the Science Center without a lot of little kids running around.

  • Fascinating Exhibit
    By KELLY O, 04/08/07
The exhibit was much better than I thought it would be. An amazing look inside your body at your muscles and organs. Displays of hearts, livers, stomachs, and other organs - healthy and diseased. My only complaint is how crowded it was. It was very difficult to see many of the exhibits with so many people crowding around. We went at spring ...

  • Overpriced Kidscentric Museum
    By DJ, 04/08/07
    The Science Museum.

Why this is the number one destination in Phoenix for tourists is beyond me.

While mildly interesting it is overpriced and way to kidcentric to be a serious science museum.

The Featured Exhibit called body worlds three is interesting Macabre display of deceased people that have been plasticized and posed without their ...
