good variety of fishing,boating,wildlife veiwing,and pther activities.really enjoyed the day there on boat fishing for cat fish,and photographing wildlife and scenery.one thing i would like to see is better access for wheelchair users to board and unboard boats.

The area is just gorgeous and awe-inspiring. On closer inspection, the lakeshore at the Canyon Lake campground was downright dirty (caveat: we didn't check out the other sites). I love this lake. There are so many things that you are able to do. I have been here many times and enjoy it SO MUCH!

Went to Canyon Lake in January 2006, the lake was almost empty, it was 75 degrees outside and the lake was like a sheet of glass, the canyons were great.
