  • We can't wait to go back!!
    By A Yahoo! Contributor, 05/09/08
A great place for adventurous souls! Hiking, backpacking, biking, rafting, and mule-riding are all part of the majestic experience! Fall or winter are the best time to visit and see snow and leaves change the landscape.

The views from both rims are magnificient! The best way to take in the enormity and majesty of the canyon is to hike down to the bottom. It's breathtaking, quiet and the most relaxing place I have ever been. I will definitely go again!

  • Simply breathtaking
    By J R, 01/14/08
There is nothing to dislike. One can just sit and take in the enormity of the canyon. The Ranger talks are most informative. Get up close to a Condor. Rafting on the river to hiking the rim trail, you just can't get enough of the Grand Canyon. We're going back!

  • Breathtaking
Every 50 feet a new view of the canyon. WOW. We were pleased to have such a trail so well maintained. We hiked to Hermit's Rest in an afternoon and stopped numorously to take photos. On our second day we hiked the Rim Trail to the Kabaib Trail. Conveniently there is a bus that can return you to your lodge if you do not feel like hiking back. We took advantage of it.

  • Absolutely convenient to travelers
    By LauraB, 10/24/07
Weare from Texas and have never been here before and we were completely comfortable in walking around the village. The roads,if you are driving are a little confusing, but it would be hard to lose your way. There are rangers everywhere and they all were very friendly. The people who worked at the village stores were extremely helpful and friendly. We absolutely loved every minute of our time spent there. Would love to move to there and work.

    By Jason, 06/25/06
I live in Arizona, but I hadn't been out to see the Grand Canyon in more than 10 years. I loved every moment. There was a nice breeze and beautiful scenery. Its a great place to be romantic.

  • Beautiful Seenery
The spectaculor views of the canyon and its perceptions! Great for pictures! Lots of suvener shops! Backpacking and Campers would enjoy. If you enter, you have the option of driving, stoping and looking or taking a guided tour! The guided tours are always more expensive.

  • A great place to live....
    By Kim, 11/13/05
In 1990 I lived and worked in the village,it was awesome and so were my co-workers.It was my "eutopia" and wished I never had to leave.Everyday was as breathtaking as the first. I would gaze out over the canyon from the backside of the Bright Angel and marvel at this wonder, hoping that everyone at least once in their lifetime would be able to experience it as well. No trip to the canyon is complete without having hiked it!

  • Grand Canyon - Dont miss it, dont miss the directions
    By A Yahoo! Contributor, 02/14/05
Definitely a must seee - no doubt. but should be careful with the way around - the map and markers on the road are not very helpful and should be careful so as not to lose your way. Do not spend too much time at the first few locations. Remember there is a beautiful tower and a great view from the tower - esp during sunrise and sunset onthe east ...
