Learn about Alaska's history or just get a refresher course (for native Alaskans). There is an abundance of art and artifacts. There is something here of interest for everyone. The parking is less than desireable, but worth the trouble.

In addition to the majestic pristine natural surroundings and interesting wildlife, what makes Alaska such an exciting travel destination is the rich history and cultural events. To fully experience this amazing place it is important to understand the history of the people from this region.

If you had to go one place in Alaska to learn about it's history- this would be the place. I was impressed that every person who works there actually has native origins. You will see survival techniques, different types of dwellings and native dances, games and traditions. The employees are really passionate about their culture and can answer any question you can think of.

I learned more about the tribes of alaska in my 2 hour visit with your guides than on any other tour during my 10 days in alaska.
I wish that i could have stayed longer.

This is a wonderful place to learn about Alaska heritage. The dancers were great!

I loved to dance.
i always have saturdays tho to enjoy my cultural dance.
I liked it there because it was current to my heritage.
There would be no chance but here.
