The outdoor exhibits were all very similar, and the guides were not helpful. We paid over $70 for a family of four to get in, and it was pretty lame. We paid have that for the Anchorage Zoo, and it was a MUCH better experience.

Great place would give 5 stars if the polynesian cultural center in hawaii wasnt so fanatastic. Great gift shop, food services workers are a little like chicken with there heads cut off, but everything else is nice, films, the outdoor village sites

The special thing about the ANHC was having the opportunity to talk with people from the villages around Alaska. Everyone seemed really devoted to presenting life in the villages in a realistic manner. It was especially good to see the commitment the high school aged kids had to learning the traditions and demonstrating them in an honest way.

I have been to the Alaska Native Heritage Center twice. My daughter was married to a Tliiingit and they had three children. They and I learned more about their culture by visiting the center. When I visit Alaska and have a friend with me, I will always take them to the center. I was there with a friend that had never been to Alaska before last ...

Excellent display of Native Alaskan culture! Enjoyed the dance performances, the trail through the native structure displays, and the museum displays. When we arrived bears had to be chased from the veranda which only added to the already enriched cultural experience.

Alaskans, above anything else, are very proud of their history. They're proud to be Alaskans. To truly understand the history of the area, you need to stop at the Heritage Center. It's awesome!

Enjoyed that the tour guides could tell us about their tribe and the region of Alaska they were from.
The story dancers were fantastic. The dancing was very discriptive and the young dancers were enjoying what they were doing, you could tell this by their expressions and their dancing.

I learned more about the tribes of alaska in my 2 hour visit with your guides than on any other tour during my 10 days in alaska.
I wish that i could have stayed longer.

This place gives you an eye full and ear full of every Alaskan Native backround you would ever want to know about, it's the best thing Alaska could have done for it's people.
