I liked it because it was a long hike but the entire time you had the most amazing view that just kept getting better. wasnt too strenuous. great for a family outing!

It was beautiful even on a cloudy day! The trails are easily manageable, even for someone with no hiking experience (me!). It gets a little rougher the higher you go, but it's easy as long as you have on some good shoes with lots of traction. Oh and it helps if you have amazing thigh strength. I can't wait to do it again on a clearer day!

The hike starts at the Glen Alps trailhead, which has a very easy loop trail with a great lookout and view of the Anchorage area. If all you want is a gorgeous view of the area, that's the way to go. Very easy, short and flat.

Have done this trail 2 times and both times offered exceptional views of Anchorage. Trail is fairly easy for experts and beginners alike, first time I went there was still snow in June and it made for a beautiful hike and walk

Any easy well maintained trail leads to great views. Easy for kids and lots to see. Alittle hard to get to, but well worth the drive.

I used to go Sleding there all the time .My aunt also lived on upper huffman so really the view is Great and well worth Every step .wait ti'll its night time and see Anchorage cite lights from a view and its just pretty to look across and see mountains the ocean and depending on your luck maybe the northern lights :P any ways great memories and wonderful place

It is a good place to snow board and the trails are good in the summer time. It shows the great part of Alaska and if you never been to Anchorage you should go there. There is whild life and stuff

Great panonoramic view of Anchorage. Spotted Moose down the valley. Even if you are not a hiker, an excellent place to visit if you have an extra hour or two to spare while in Anchorage. Only a 15 minute drive from Anchorage airport.
