Actually spent Christmas Day hiking around this lake. Was visiting from Atlanta. Wanted to get out of the hotel on Christmas Day, but the snow plows were not out in full force due to the holiday. i go there with my friends (i live about a mile and a half away) and fish with my hands and get about 20 fish..hehe im good:)

I love Goose Lake!

Goose Lake is one of my favorite places to spend the day in the summertime. The lake is small, so the water gets warm enough to swim by mid-May. The shore has a sandy beach near the swimming area, and there is a trail around parts of the lake. Other parts are left completely natural.
There's a building near the lake that contains bathrooms ...
