congrats on going toe to toe with starbucks and winning the "loser leaves town" grudge match. may you have years of success and profits.

i really like the club pannini. it has turkey, cheese, lettuce, tomato, and bacon on good bread with a herb aioli (mayo).

also the brownies rock. i like the atmosphere and warmth of Lucy's.

Lucy's is a great place to get a quick cup of coffee or tea. The shop is on the edge of the UAB medical center district, and is the only independent coffee shop within walking distance of UAB. (long live the independent coffee shop!).

Good eats, great service, arty & off-beat atmosphere--what's not to love?? New soups are delicious & the later hours (open 'til 7)allows me to meet friends after work. (ok, you can do some work there, too, with the wifi.) Did I mention that Lucy serves the best cup of cofee in town?

i like this place very much. They serve coffee there, tea too, and sandwhcihes (I think).
