I went with three of my friends and each had one martini. We each paid seperate with our credit cards. The total was 8.75 and our accounts were charged $50. All four so it wasn't a mistake. I would suggest if you go to pay with cash or else your bartender may try to cheat you.

My first visit was excellent! The bartender was exceptional. I had a couple of martini's and each one was exactly the same PERFECT! I plan to visit this bar regularly....If you have'nt been there you are missing a truly wonderous experience.......

I Loved the outdoor Patio!
Every Bar or Lounge should have an outdoor area this nice!
Any bar that contains a patio or porch gets an extra 10 points in my book.
The Blue Monkey's patio area was exceptionally enjoyable and can't wait to visit them again

The Monkey was totally awesome! The service there is second to none. The musician is also great. What I remember best is the "Purple Haze" drink...Every bar that I frequent here in South Korea has to step their game up to the Monkey's Purple Haze drink. I will have them ALL serving this drink by New Year's Eve :)

I spent a week in Birmingham with a friend who lives there and after dinner at Chez Fonfon we went over to the Monkey. The ambiance is next to none, they have a large drink menu, and you get a good martini and it comes with a side-car so you get about 1 1/2 martini's. The mood of an old time speak easy. Next time I am in town I will go back. I would love to have a place like this in Old Town Alexandria.
