Maybe I am biased because I have seen many cathedral's all around the world, but I was expecting to see more from the main cathedral in Puerto Vallarta. It's pretty from the outside, but the inside is rather plain and seems newly redone. It's worth a visit if you're in the area anyways, but definitely not worth a special trip.

The church, town square and surrounding streets are charming, considering that most of the tourists are americans who, litter, and really only want to go eat at hooters or other american resturants.

The wonderful architecture will leave you in awe...This place is special and when you see it in person you will instantly know it.WOW what more can I say.....

This church is central in the downtown area and is beautiful. On sunday morning the church was full of people and the doors open. the parishoners wecolmed all.

I loved the way it was aranged. It was a beautiful sight and probebly the best historical one I saw on my trip. The best time to visit is in the mid-summer when you can swim in the ocean. The experience was awsome!

Very inviting with the doors open with locals and tourists alike praying. A nice place to sit, absorb the beauty and thank God for such an amazing place to relax.

OLG is a beautiful cathedral located right across from the main plaza in downtown Vallarta. The interior is white plaster and marble with gold accents and beautiful stained glass. You can hear the church bells toll on the hour. Also across the street, you will find several little religious shops selling bless ed religious items. During the festival ...

It was one of the most beautiful sites, in Puerto Vallarta. Have been in there on more than one occasion. Will be seeing it,again, when we return to P.V. in Feb. 2008.
